Depends on the cause of the pain, but a physical therapist could be helpful.

I'm disabled. I have to wear boots. I always keep them next to the bed, so I can change into them. Unfortunately. I stood on them a couple of months ago and fell on the bedside unit.

Why are you complaining about your back on a porn website... blink

And on a side note, your back problems may very well come from extensive amounts of time hunched over masturbating 2c

Best answer: get in the gym

If the painkillers you have mentioned in previous threads do not bring relief then soldier is right, go see a doctor. Who knows, you might end up like a friend of mine with your own supply of morphine.

Or he might send you to an NHS chiropractor, I paid for mine, she fixed me.

If its middle or upper back pain heat pads might help. If it is lower back pain then a cold pack might help, I used frozen peas in a tea towel, cheap, reusable but don't eat them.

I fact it is, I know grin redeyes

You said previously you are disabled...that is no excuse. I have seen and worked with many disabled folks in the gym. Physical exercise is a great therapy, for both body and mind, making you strong in both body and mind. I have personally seen and have several friends who have taken control of their disability through exercise, refusing to give up. Put in the hard yards my friend, it will pay off...

It's my lower back mate. Just above the waistband. If you know what I mean.

Cold pack, your waistband will hold it in place. If you don't like my DIY version Boots sell them. 20 minutes every couple of hours.

If you are often in hospital I'm told that a pretty nurse walking on your back is well worth a try.

Watch this, very inspirational...if he can do it anyone can. Don't listen to all the Doctors and therapists pushing meds and painkillers on you and telling you that you can't...

Look into Lidoderm Patches. They are non addicting, stick to your skin and they work wonders. The patch releases numbing agents and it doesn't interfere with your bodies chemical balance.

I can't take Tramadol. I'll get Serotonin Syndrome which would be pretty lethal to me. All I have is Co-Codamol. Which Are fucking useless.

Look into the Lidoderm patches. It will only numb the area in question and nothing more. There aren't any side reactions.

Tramadol is rather stronge. and not to be taken after a short time.

Co-Codamolis bascally Paracecetamol with a very small ammount of Codiene with it (8mg).

Codeine is very strong pain killer.
There are two basic doses 30mg and 60mg max, 4 times a.day
But again, taken over time, can become additive.
Suggest see the Doc and read up on the subject in the internet.

Hope you get better

Do you actually know what is damaged? There's lots of parts in your back. Find out that before you do any treatment.

A friend is trying acupuncture and he's seems to slowly becoming right, but he keeps on going back.

I chipped a couple of verbate (?) a few years ago and I was pretty much in constant pain. Until one day I noticed it was gone. Does come back if I don't treat my back with respect. Use your legs not your back.

When you're in hospital or at the doctors next ask them what they suggest and whether there's any physio that you can do. It could be just a pulled muscle. But get it checked first by a proper medical person, then decide.

I had a slipped disk once.
My GP slipped it back for me in about 5 mins.

Back pain sucks.
Was nearly crippled several yrs ago, never did find the cause. Tried everything but voodoo and that was next. I would have killed myself eventually. Had a series of steroid injections in various places in my spine and it went away. Doctors aren't all bad. So now after turning to total flab I'm back at the gym, exercise regularly again and it's all good. If you get out of pain enough to move, MOVE. Good luck.
