Change of user name

I am a new member who wants to change his user name but is unable to do so. I have tried deleting the account and starting anew but keep getting told that the email addresses, both of them, are already in use. Could the moderators here kindly delete all records of mine and let me start over please? Or advise how I can change my user name to Beetle1946. Thank you
