I made a corned beef brisket in the crockpot, cooked all afternoon ...made sandwiches out of it on rye with thousand island dressing and swiss cheese (we don't eat sauerkraut)

I think peanut oil makes fries taste better, seems a little bit lighter

Peanut oil has a higher smoke temp so you can get it really, really hot
