Yesterday on NPR (national public radio) I heard a report that it is MC and Visa who are requiring the verification of all posters on porn sites. Apparently it's not governments. Not happy about this.

A quick whois on [link removed] shows very little, they have hidden most information for "privacy reasons", but it appears to have been registered out of Reykjavik.

So they operate out of New Zealand, but I can't find any company records for them, they registered their domain in Reykjavik, and they hide who they are. Not instilling a lot of confidence!
