with my house in shambles. Daughter's family has been visiting for a couple of weeks, Monday the son in law leaves to deploy for Afghanistan yet again. I've just been here reflecting how life fly's by so fast and life changing events can happen in a heartbeat. I've always known this (witness my own life) but watching my daughters change before my eyes gives a different perspective. Things move so fast some time.....

I've been away for a bit, had some health issues but I've been back in chat some and commenting on the forums some. We entertained some friends last nite for the first time and it was nice feeling normal again. Good to see some of the same good people still here!

Well I'm back from a road trip south...Just dropped by to say hi. I had a great time...bless my hubby for seeing to that and my birthday was celebrated with a bang. I did learn something....lol. ...and it seems to be agreeing with me...lol. We've been on a bit of vacation, spent the holiday weekend in the Middle Keys at a friends condo and had a bit of a wild weekend. I won't bore with a lot of details (mostly because its all a blur) but we had the best time with a group of new friends and my craving of attention was satisfied to the max. I spent a good two days getting over it...lol. Getting old is a b*tch. Now we are in Key West for Couples Fest...and a birthday celebration (mine) so hopefully this weekend will bring more of the same. Hope you are all keeping safe and being naughty....

My killer hangover is finally over. Tuesday Night I helped out at an event held by a local software company. Once a year they bring all their customers together and have a meeting of sorts, looking for suggestions for product improvement. I help out now and then and Tues. I acted as dinner hostess...seeing to needs and seating and generally just schmoozing alot. Somewhere alng the way as the evening was breaking up I was plyed with too many strong spirits and got a little carried away. I ended up calling hubby for a ride home and man was I a hurting puppy most of the day yesterday.. I have now swore off Iced tea and Grey Goose....at least until tomorrow...lol.

So much not going on today....lol. It's wonderful in its own way. After cleaning house like a fiend on Saturday yesterday we just knocked around a bit. We stopped at a place we hadn't been to much for a bite and a beer and they have this compressor system that cools beer as it comes out of the tap to 29 degrees. Talk about refreshing! After a couple of those we headed home and feeling a little friski I had hubby take some photos...a couple which I will post here. Hope people enjoy them. A bit of a contrast from alot in the past....
