I went to my doctor last week for my annual checkup. did all the bloodwork, EEG, EKG, Chest X-ray, and gyno. My cholesterol was excellent, Blood pressure was normal, All the tests came back perfect. Needless to say I was very happy with my results. But I'm somewhat miffed at him for a certain recommendation he had. He had a problem with my weight. I weighed 375lbs. I gained about 4 lbs from last year. He urged me to go on a strict diet and prescribed me some powerful diet pills. He also said that if my weight does not come down I might want to consider gastric bypass surgery. Hr knows that I come from a family of large people. Everyone in my family has lived a long healthy life, no history of heart disease or anything cardiovascular. I told him I felt great and physical activities do not limit me at all. I treadmill 20 min. everyday and do pilates and other stretching exercises. after telling him that he still insisted on a rapid weight loss plan and or gastric bypass. Personally, I kind of feel like he is turned off by the sight of large women. Ryan thinks he is having a typical knee jerk reaction to weight issues. Just curious to know what others take on this may be or has anyone else experienced something like this in the past?

Unfortunantly, a close friend of Ryan and me passed away this week. We attended the funeral of a long time friend that passed away from natural causes, he was 86 years old. Ryan served under him in the National guard many years ago. He was a good family man to say the least. Anyways, after the funeral, the priest was walking around after the funeral consoling the families as they usually do, hugging and shaking hands and offering words of encouragement. Alot of glamour photographers are now switching to it and it has a reliability and build quality that has no rival. At $1400.00, this camera is a bargain. It will be the last camera you will ever need. The Zuiko telephoto lens was just an add on I decided to purchase.
