Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 6:07:37 PM- No more snow
I got home late the other night and it is so quiet out here that you could hear the snow melting. I had to stop and stand still and focus before I could place the sound. It would be very hard to describe but i'd say it sounded like trillions of little fairy wings beating. You must imagine what that would sound like.

The girls are regular egg laying machines. I got a dozen eggs last tuesday. I'm selling thm to friends. Those bitches are finally earning their keep.

I've been pruning apple trees in my spare time. Whatever that is.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009, 3:09:28 AM- no dreams
Or at least none that I remember.

I might have the house in town rented. This would be the answer to so many of my woes. Please cross your fingers.

And yes JP, that fucker is still burried in the front yard

Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 2:51:43 AM- funny comments about last nights dream
My dreams are so technicolor vivid. And I can remember every detail. Kricket asked if she was wearing boots, and she was! Bright kelly green wellies with a little button on the side.

The funny thing also is that time shifts in my dreams. like scenes in a movie. I suppose dreams are like movies your mind makes up. Maybe your mind needs entertainment while your eyes are closed.

off to sleep....perchance to dream

Monday, March 16, 2009, 4:07:28 PM- Now THATS a dream
I dreamt last night that I was on a camping trip with queen elizabeth. It was a campground that I stayed at last summer. And apart from her retinue of corgis you wouldn't of recognised the old girl. We walked along the beach and the long road that runs parallel to the highway. Very relaxing.

As we sat around the campfire she told me stories about the rest of the family. It seems William is engaged but it won't be announced until late spring. Yes, she also worried that that other one wasn't charles's. We got on a huge laughing binge imagining Camilla and Charles adopting a Korean baby and trying to get it into the line of succession. People from other campsites had to shush us.

We were sharing a pop up camper. I worried that my snoring would keep her awake. She assured me the corgis would drown out any of my snores. (she was right, those little bitches sounded like chain saws) When I woke up she had the camp stove lit and was frying bacon.

Thats an odd dream

Monday, March 16, 2009, 12:09:19 AM- odd
I was just standing at the window and I noticed a jet WAY up high heading west. For just a split second I was on the jet. I could see the light casting long shadows over the great lake. I was excited to be going to Seattle.

And then, just as quickly I was back in my little unfinished house on the prarie. Going nowhere and thats ok.

There must be something in this sheetrock dust.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 6:31:53 PM- so true
I know weather forecasters often get it wrong but I wonder if we only NOTICE it more. We are supposed to get wumped with a possible foot of snow and 50 mph winds. They said it would start at one o clock. Well...12:45 it starts. So heavy I can't see the barn from the house.

I think about the early settlers. How they were left to myths and observations to help them figure out the weather future. I think about the armistice day blizzard in 1940. How unprepared people were when they left their houses for a warm fall day (60's) then the temp falls 50 degrees and we got 27 inches of snow. 140 people died.

We bitch about the weather man but THIS time he got it right.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009, 10:09:06 PM- Yeah....
I was so happy to see "strangeland" posted some new photos. I really missed him.

When I think of an ideal body, like when the dentist says "go to your happy place" I think of him.

Oh, and he's smart too.

I exit singing...Isn't it bromantic"

Saturday, February 28, 2009, 4:25:28 PM- maybe this marriage stuff....
Isn't all it's made out to be. I spent the evening with a friend last night who has just finished his divorce. He is succesful, cute, and sings like an angel, but here he is convinced that he ruined his only shot at happiness.

I know what he means. If you give your heart fully and it gets shot up you tend to doubt your decision making abilities.

Until you heterosexuals perfect this marriage stuff...I'm out.
