Is Valentine's Day here already? For the past few years it's been just another day for me. Get up in the morning, go through the usual routine (shower, shave, breakfast, coffee). Eventually I turn on the computer and find out it's a holiday for lovers. Ha! I'm one of THE most romantic guys around and haven't recieved a Valentine in YEARS. I used to like this holiday. I don't hate it now, just tired of being the one to always give the cards and flowers and not ever recieve any in return. So on Valentine's Day I'll go to work and count the cards and flowers displayed on the desks of the smiling ladies. I'll be my usual jovial self. But inside I'll be a smidgen blue. This is what happens when you get to be older and single. Just another day. (sighs) Love is for the young. ... and fakey "Happy Valentine's Day" wishes in the comments section of my blog don't count, either. If there were an Ebeneezer Scrooge of Valentine's Day it would be me. lol So, with tongue firmly planted (unfortunately) in cheek, I will wink at you all... ... and wish you all a case of VD!

Starting with "Louie, Louie", I wonder how many hours the censors spent slowing down songs to listen to and try to find dirty lyrics? I'll bet they had their hands full with this old bubble-gum classic: btw... sometimes I leave more than one blog a day. I can see from the lack of comments on the first ones I post on those days that some people only scan the first one and then move on. When you do this you sometimes miss out, dig?

50 years ago. Still reeling from the loss of JFK, The Beatles gave us a shot in the arm of positive vibes when the youth of the U.S.A most needed one. My all time favorite band: Yeah, yeah, yeah!
