Wow what a rollercoaster ride!

Its been 9 years since I posted on here! In that time we planned to move to Canada, but didn't. Lost friends and family through cancer and heart disease. Had nieces and nephews born, sold the small holding. Moved from aberdeenshire Scotland to Newark, England and finally moved to France!!
And that's the quick version!

France is beautiful, really wish we had done this move years ago.. for the price of one bedroom bungalow in Oxfordshire we brought a 5 bedroom house with land, woodland, pool and two barns... hubby has already said no to a dungeon though 🙄😂
My French is improving, especially after a few wines!
I miss having livestock, especially when they had us running around, but our cats seemed to be channeling them!!!

My hands are cold, my fingers have gone numb....i have been sat there for three hours, just waiting, poised in one position...the window is open and the engine is off, i carefully look up from the sights....still nothing...
I am now bursting for a pee, but, i will have to wait. I had carefully placed three duck eggs, carefully parked the car...and yet nothing..
"sod it!" i thought, "two secs to nip in the house and have a quick pee!"
I run to the loo.....oh the relief.......but the pleasant feeling is short lived as i open the door to see three crows fly off with the duck eggs!!! B£$&@#%s!!! they had bloody waited for me to leave to steal the eggs!!!!

Now i will just have to start again!!! i will shoot these crows!! i will stop them from stealing the eggs!!!!

Well that didnt work...I had a bodyshop party....well i hosted it, the woman who presented it turned up half an hour before, and a friend turned up half an hour late...something to do with chasing a turkey around the paddock that had gotten out...and that was it... the three of us...all alone in the kitchen, with cup cakes, biscuits and tea...not the best event i have hosted, but i did have a giigle all the same...and spent money...whoops!

But now the sun is out, so i am stripping off to do the gardening...knowning my luck i will get bitten by midges (not midgets), and fall in the duck pond! As long as i can keep Katie my 18 month spring out of it, it will be a success!!

A couple of weeks or so ago, i had a very green spaniel where she decided to play in the pond! ... was most put out, when i hosed her down, clean enough to get her in the shower(which is easier to get in with her), So there was a naked me shampooing a greenish spaniel in the shower...cleaned off the shampoo, then cleaned myself...looked down to see the dog had now turned red, from my hair dye!! so again she was washed.
Then i shut her in the shower(now turned off), and dried myself, and dressed, all the while waiting for her to shake....do you think that little cow would shake!! half an hour i waited! and still nothing!
I gave in, i opened the front door to let her run straight outside, then opened the shower...the little cow took one step out of the shower, looked at me and shook!!!!!!!! i was soaked, the bathroom was soaked!! ...but she didnt finish there!! oh not our little Katie!! she promptly went outside and rolled in .... Duck muck!!! Arghhh!!

Well this time... she is NOT going to win!! and NOT going in with the ducks!!!

Well, Noevero has asked that i keep updating my blog...i really dont think my life is that exciting though...how goes Canada btw Noevero?
Well it was hot and sunny here, for all of an hour, this is Scotland after all, so that will be our summer over then, but at least i got to sunbath, first topless, then when i was sure that dirty old farmer wasnt around(and no i dont mean my husband), i thought "sod it" and whipped the lot off, settled into my hammock, only to hear "you who!!" one of my mates had turned up, thank god for sarongs!!!
So with that and two spaniels who wanted to play ... i lost out on the summer of scotland! still might be lucky, and it might last another day!

well being british, shall i start with the weather? hmmm maybe, but then i could also tell you how i planted 200 bulbs...but then that would aslo bore you all to tears...
nahh i think i will just leave it for today, and see if i can think of something better for another day lol
