I remember so many of those pictures. They were horrific then and time hasn't changed a thing with seeing them now.

when Iraqi Freedom started we all felt that it was this generation's VN, being a VN area vet and being at the Pentagon during 2000 - 2006, welcoming home the wounded heroes every month, it reminded me of 1962 - 1975. Still working for DoD and still thanking our service members for their sacrifice but wonder when the politicians and the war industrial will get tired of it, sorry, but every day working to make sure the warfighter has what they need to come home safe it is always there. The question I have to ask myself every day when I get up and when I go to bed is "what have I done for the warfighter today and taxpayer. Sorry, just tired, just like everyone else. But one to never let our service members and taxpayers down. Thank you Pony for the song, I loved then and I still love it now, always relevant.
