Hoping for local Mackay encounters

We are both locals of the Mackay region and would love to hear from others in the area. Unfortunately we haven’t seen anyone we know from the region and as every day passes, we are one day closer to the inevitable.

Is there a place in Australia named MacKay? Very Scottish.

Met loads of Aussies last year on holiday. What a great sociable bunch 👍🏻 They even got me into Australian rules football 🤣
