New "Newbie" Pink Shield

You will notice that some members have a hot pink shield by their names - it's the "Newbie" shield.

It means that person has been a member for less than 14 days. In fact, if you mouse over it you can see how long they have been a member for.

It's purpose is to highlight new members so you can all make them feel welcome.

Please send them a PM or put a comment on their profile becuase a welcomed member is a member that will come back to the site again and really join the community.

Have you made it so we can delete the bad comments off our profile yet when we get them? That's the feature I'm looking forward to. Don't want to have to cry to the mod's to do it for me.

Kinda defeats the welcome, many people want to look around before deciding to stay or provide details, just as people are free to post pics or not. Although I agree with what you are trying to do, its a slippy slope when we FORCE the issue.

I really hate saying anything bad about a feature that could be great and is a great resource when modding pictures... but if you watch status updates you can see that the pink shield makes people a target for others who think they are possible fakes and is not helping to make NewbieNudes feel like a community. just my opinion
