Friday, March 21, 2008, 12:53:26 AM-
We've had a good dash of spring here, been working on pm's (preventative maintenance) as much as possible. All that said I am still attending the gym on a daily basis, haven't hit a plateau yet. Going with my sisters b/f has kept some of the monotny down as well as keep some friendly competition going.

A customer called and wanted his condensing unit moved down to the corner of his house the other day. Not a complicated job, but once I totalled the parts up it came to a lot more than I expected. Copper prices are insane along with about everything else it seems like. Diesel here is 3.99 a gallon. Thats insaneeeee, cost of doing business is going up like crazy. One has to wonder if it will back off just a little bit. Probably won't but a stop in the climb sure would be appreciated. Long story short, to move the customers unit it cost him just short of $600. I figured he'd have said no, but he didn't bat an eye and said move it.

All that said I am pretty tired today I suppose, holiday weekend coming up though. If the weather keeps up I am gonna have to take a trip to the beach one of these days. Its been rather windy but it's gotten up to almost 90, perfect beach weather. With all that said I need to get a shower and rinse off. I'll probably be in chat a for a lil bit tonight then I am hittin the sack. Behave everyone....

Ok so I admit that I haven't kept up with blogs lately. Both in writing and in reading everyones that I normally do so I apologize. Had my only grandpa down last week and tried to spend as much time with him as possible. Never know might be the last time I see him. Although his health is great especially being he is 77. Gets around just fine with a few minor aches and pains but still very well for his age. We had a good time though, went to dinner a few times, went fishin, and bowling. Kinda sucks gettin ure ass kicked by a senior citizen at bowling, but in my defense that was probably my 7th time bowling ever lol.
Since I blogged last time I have joined a gym. Its awesome, especially being I have never been to one before. The atmosphere is much more condoning to actually want to work out and such. My sister bought me a membership for an early birthday present and her b/f needed someone to go with so its all good. Two bird with one stone sorta deal on her part. I've been goin for about a week now, I think I can tell a difference. I know I can tell a difference in the way I feel, seems to have loads more energy the following day. All in all I think it will be a good all around experience.

Until Next Time...

Saturday, February 16, 2008, 3:51:54 PM-
Went and seen Jumper yesterday. I blogged the preview a couple blogs ago. It turned out to be ok. I felt that they took too much time explaining somethings and not enough going into others. Then all together they seemed to do too much explaining for what action there was in the end. I thought it had a great concept for a movie but it looks as if they have something to build off of if they choose.

Valentines Day went alright, being the single guy I am. I think its more or less a marketing ploy anyway, all things considered. Although I'd celebrate it if I had a g/f I suppose because the majority of women are very into that. I'm usually not very big on flowers anytime of the year. I just feel that all they are gonna do is die anyways.... Seems like a waste of money but I am sure there is some sort connection that can be made between something being beautiful and then dying. Ehhh just rambling thoughts....

I have to go to work later because some guy has a 3-wire drier circuit and bought a brand new 4-wire drier.... Now he wants to make the 3-wire setup work on the 4 wire drier lol. Technically.... if you tie the ground and the neutral wire together it will more than likely work.... Although that is completely against code and has the possibility of causing a shock hazzard. As I am sure you can guess, if there is a shock hazzard there is also a fire hazzard sooooo. I guess I have to go explain this to him. He's gonna want to run the wire himself I bet, which is fine with me. As a lot of you know I'm 6'5 and 240ish lbs, so crawling in attics aren't on the top of my list of things to do. Even though I do it all the time lol. Besides the general population doesn't seem to like to pay much here for little electrical jobs like that. They look at it as mostly "just a few wires" and such. So more power to him if he wants to do it himself lol. Sure i'll make the connections for him in his breaker box and at the drier if he wants. So we will have to see how things turn out. I've not been over there so it could be something completely different. In general most people that call don't always have an accurate description of what they want or need anyhow.

Couple of upcoming movies I seen the previews for I wanted to share with ya'll.

First off they are making a new Indiana Jones movie I thought might be interesting.

Aswell as the new Batman movie. Last movie Heath Ledger did for all you fans, looks like it might be good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaIR9dAZRR0

Just thought I'd share, but anyways time for a shower so we can get work out of the way. Until next time....

Monday, February 11, 2008, 3:44:51 AM-
I watched Billy Madison on tv the other day and had this song stuck in my head and thought I would share. Somewhat of a blast from the past. (for those of you who call the 80's "the past"wink

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StmOleJpPFI

Weekend went smoothly. The slight ammount of rain on Saturday messed up a little of my work schedule but nothing major. Next week is looking like its going to be paperwork week for the most part. Some places just like to try and nit pick about everything so I am sure I will be on the phone a good part of tommarrow. I've no doubt that everything will work out in my favor though, justs takes a little bit of doing more or less. So we shall see how things go.

Watched the probowl today. Looked like a nice game of touch football. I think its a good easily played game to end the season on a good note with everyone. Everyone down here is fired up about NASCAR now. Not big on the roundy round boys myself so now I have to find something else to entertain me on sundays.

On a final note I was rather disgruntled to see that Missy-1970 had left NN. I heard a lot of the story and I hope something can be worked out because she was truely a good member. One of the few who did not seem to thrive in drama and was just here to have a good time. Either way NN will miss her and hopefully at some point see her return at some point in the future... no matter how close or distant that maybe.

Until next time...

Thursday, February 7, 2008, 4:09:30 AM- Movies & Such
Seen a few previews on movies the other day that I thought would be interesting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS8u4MDq7Ow

Should be interesting to see Hayden in a new movie, I thought he did well in the Star Wars series but have no idea of anything he's done before that or after.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7ftozVc3lI

Anything with Angelina Jolie and guns has to be good; even if she was once sleeping with Billy Bob. Also, off the top of my head I can't think of a "bad" film with Morgan Freeman in it. Sure there were some that weren't spectacular but nothing bad either.

Went to Wal-Mart earlier and as I got my regular protein shake deal I also seen some sort of Creatine? shake? I read the back of it and it looked similar but of course they aren't gonna say which is better on the bottle. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion as to Whey Protein vs Creatine blend. Never had a problem with the Whey so thats what I went with. I'm sure I could look it up on google or what have you but figured I'd get an opinion aswell.

Thats all I have tonight so until next time...

Monday, February 4, 2008, 5:41:06 AM- Superbowl
Well the Giants won... Oh well. As I've said to just about everyone, the Patriots aren't my team, that I simply felt that they deserved it more. Felt like the Patriots played a harder regular season schedule and showed the ultimate meaning of consistancy by going unbeaten. Giants fans seem to still being going one about this "Joes vs Pros" thing... or "Perfect vs Imperfect". I find myself asking what if the Patriots would have won? Would Giants fans play the "well we were the underdog so we weren't suppose to win anyway" card? I'd be willing to say yes, 99% of them probably would. Now it seems the Giants winning shows some sort of meaning of life? I guess. "You don't have to be perfect to win, imperfect can win too." I honestly don't think nor feel thats what football is about. Its about hard work and preparation. About heart and 60 minutes of team work. Its not some sort of key to unlock one of lifes mysteries.... Atleast not that one, in my opinion of course.

Not here to bash the Giants.. they played better today. I don't think the Patriots Superbowl loss makes them any less of a great team though. They will still go down as one of the best ever in NFL history. Thats the way the ball bounces though.. It was a tough game and a tough loss but theres always next season. We will see what it brings next year...

Saturday, February 2, 2008, 4:11:32 AM- Untraceable
Well I went as seen Untraceable tonight. All in all it was an "alright" movie. Not like I would be asking for my money back as I was considering doing when I seen Cloverfield a few weeks back. To its advertisements credit it was suspensful at parts but I also found a few parts to be predictable. The best thing about the movie was it had some what of a realistic feel to it. As if its possible for something like that to really happen. Sure does make you wonder anyway.

Friday, February 1, 2008, 3:41:15 AM- Interesting
I actually find it semi-entertaining to read some other people blogs even though I am not much on reading. Well story type things anyway. I find myself look at other peoples to see what they say or think or whatever. Granted its people I've associated with in chat or who have left blog comments. Sometimes you can pick up on something about a person that doesn't seem to be visibly apparent when in chat. Just something I'd thought I'd share....

On another note, the last few days have been nice weather. Just as projected highs in the upper 70's although I think it's gotten to 80 myself. Sometimes the weather people lie!!! Starting to get some color back in my skin from the sun, makes me looks like a true Floridian. Even though apparently according to about everyone that Canada and everyone at the North Pole seem to get the same exact heat we do. Next time I hear that I gonna tell them we get just as much cold and see what they say lol. Not saying that I doubt that northern regions of this country and even on into canada doesn't get warm and maybe even hot from time to time. I just don't think on a daily basis it gets AS hot, aswell as when the sun goes down it cools down quite a bit more there. Where as on a good hot summer day here it might drop somewhere in the mid to low 80's at night. Not only is our heat during the day longer (in my opinion) our hot season has to be clearly longer. I mean if you think about it look at all the pale northerners. Not saying this is a bad thing at all, just making a point is all. Yes for the smart ass that is gonna tell me that heat doesn't cause ure skin to tan that its the UV rays..... If ure freezin ure ass off ure not gonna show much skin. Nuff Said.

Got the quarterly reports done today... being they were due today hahaha. Also got the federal unemployment tax sent off..... being it was also due today lmao So I am somewhat glad I have that out of the way. Personally not a big one on paper work really. Although if I had a job that did exclusively paper work rather than both inside and outside work maybe I would like it more. Or maybe it would be easier to focus and concentrate on. Its not that any of it is hard I more or less just have to find the gumption to do it I suppose.

Thats about all I guess for now, as always questions welcome no matter how off the wall they are or easy. Whatever floats ya'lls boat. So until next time......

Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 4:05:39 AM- As the world turns..
Today was rather warm here, if it wasn't for the breeze it would have had to potential to be some what "hot". Workin outside today I actually started to get back some of my tan that had faded this winter. In all honesty some parts are a little red but nothing too bad. I'll keep some aloe gel stuff on it and hopefully it'll tan up and not peel. Then again your first tan of the season always seems to peel at some point. No biggie either way, not too many people can say they got a tan in January!! Atleast not in this country lol.

Haven't really understood the whole internet threats of bodily harm thing... Had some what of a disagreement with someone the other day who appeared to be "having one of those days", but I really wasn't aware of at that time. The comment of "breaking my neck like a tooth pick" came up. I wonder if this makes you feel tough or something... I personally didn't see any good reason in pursuing it but it had me thinkin was all... What is it suppose to accomplish? Is it suppose to strike fear within me? BLAH not worth the effort. I just think the whole internet tough guy thing is way over played. It'd never go down like that in person, so maybe.... its like a fantasy deal? Who knows? Like I said though, its all good either way. I was more or less surprised though from the jump of simple chatroom jokes to serious threats of violence followed by leaving quickly. I plan to leave it sit as it is unless brought up at a later date, not like I am losing any sleep over it.

All things considered everything went well. Had a busy but productive day, gettin back into the work out routine and feeling good about that. So until tommarrow or one day soon...

Tuesday, January 29, 2008, 4:58:45 AM- Ehh..
Today went ok I suppose. Started out fine, typical monday. Got some work done and was atleast semi-productive. Bought some apples the other day that turned out to be great. Love my apple with peanut butter. If you've not tried it I highly recommend it. Day progressed fine through lunch but as the later hours came I seem to get the feeling as if I am on the outside looking in. Wasn't any real defining moment for that or of that. More like the eerie feeling in your subconscious thought. Almost as if lurking and slowly enveloping your slightest of thoughts and actions. As I sit here I dig deep within myself to discover the cause of my agnst, but to this moment it still evades me....

Nothing to big planned for later on in the week as of yet. Mostly just SSDD, can't complain about that. Highs are suppose to reach the upper 70's tommarrow. Should be a nice day although I don't mind the chilly ones at all.

Starting to get late I suppose, thinking I might call it quits before too long. So until another time....
