Friday, September 10, 2010, 9:22:42 PM- The Return of Football season...
Well the season has officially started in the NFL.... Now everyone is a Saints fan? OH CMON! I am very much an NFL enthusiast, you'll find me watching the game(s) every sunday. I like several teams, yeah the same ones I've liked for awhile now. What always gets me is after a team wins the superbowl... everybody you run into is a new fan... Not seeing many of the "New York Superbowl Giants" fans around lately are ya? Why? Because they suck ass now. No, everyone is either a Pittsburgh Steeler fan or a New Orleans Saints fan... big surprise there!
As for the game last night, I found myself relatively unimpressed by both teams. So this here is for all you Saints fans... The number 1 passing team last year as well as the Highest scoring offense could only manage 14 points against a team that didn't have ANY of their starting corner backs and were even at times playing safetys in the spots of their CB's... Yeah the Saints are AWESOME..... 7 of their 14 points came on the very first drive of the game, which I admit was pretty impressive, and the other 7 off of a drive where 6 of the 8 plays were runs? Oh yeah the Saints are on par for a repeat... No I'm not a Vikings fan, just callin the game as I saw it. I personally feel that the Saints and their fans should feel lucky that Sydney Rice couldn't play... ya know the Vikings number one reciever. So basically.... you beat a team that was all banged up and did so in a very unimpressive manner... SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!
One last thing, if I have to hear any of the announcers say anything about the Saints superbowl win being some sort a redemption for hurricane katrina im gonna pull my hair out. They didn't win the superbowl the year katrina went through... or the year after... or the year after that. Its been 5 years since Katrina, its safe to say it has NOTHING to do with it. You don't see the Dolphins going around saying anything about when Hurricane Andrew went through do ya? "Who Dat" was copied off of the Bengals "Who Dey", and no body liked the saints back when everyone called them the "Ain'ts"... End Football Rant
Other than all that everything went ok today, plenty warm here today as is typical florida weather. Although I am sure its soooo much hotter in all the northern states as I have heard constantly... pfffff

Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 10:05:53 PM- And on comes summer
Its really surprising to me how savage some people can be sometimes. I know its every bit of 90 degrees outside (fahreintheit), and not everyone does well in the heat... However pushing the 12 to 14 hour days on someone with half a day off per week is getting old already! You say what about overtime? I say WTF is overtime! Its no more than 2 weeks into summer and I'm already sun burnt, too bad its gonna turn into a farmers tan though. Lets get one thing straight, I can most certainly do the work, BUT I don't HAVE to like it. It'll take a lot more than a few long days and a little bit of heat to break me down!

I guess all I am saying is, be nice to your a/c service guy. Your air may not be working, you're hot, and you want it fixed yesterday. However your a/c guy more than likely has 10 people like you to get to in a day, will sweat 10x more than you will, and doesn't need to hear about how uncomfortable you are. A little kindness goes a long way in a day full of arrogent needy assholes...

Monday, March 29, 2010, 10:50:39 PM- Been Awhile
So its been awhile since I've done any blogging... Ok over a year now, but who's counting right? Made it through tax season in the black, always a plus! Spring is well on its way here, getting up in the 80's and work is speeding up. I still find myself working on things that are out of my "specialty" but if I can fix it and make a few bucks at it, why not? Like I tell just about everyone else, anything but cars or computers. With the whole federal tax economic rebate on new A/C systems I look to hopefully sell quite a few this summer. Only lasts until the end of the year for those wondering, and those who live in the US and require furnaces I believe the same applies.

Started going back to the gym again. There towards the end of the year I just simply got out of it but beach season is coming and I'm working on "shedding the winter coat" so to speak. It'll take a few weeks to get back in complete rhythm of where I left off but I have nothing but time, well on most days anyhow.

For the song of the day I have chose https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMIrMdribQo Its a live performance and the sound quality isn't great but he's easily one of the greatest guitarists of all time and my personal favorite.

Saturday, February 21, 2009, 5:10:45 PM- I can't stand Tax Season
I simply can not stand tax season, there has to be a better way of doing things than this. I don't have what one would consider "regular" taxes I guess. I have to get all of this paper work ready for the corporation to have its taxes done. Being i am a share holder in a business I can't have my personal taxes filed until my corporate taxes are done. Don't get me wrong, I don't do the actual form. I have to have everything organized in a very certain specific way for them to be able to do it. In all actuality I could probably fill the form out myself and be just fine. However its more or less been decided that its gonna be taken there because of their assurance and we've had it done there ever since the corporation was formed.
Its not that its terribly hard to do but it feels more like busy work than anything else. You just have to get in that certain mood and have the mind set of, "Ok I am gonna get this done". On a different note, its Saturday and I don't have to work!!! Thats awesome!! The last 2 or 3 Saturdays I've had to work, not that business has been overwhelming, but more last minute. Calls have poured in Friday afternoon like crazy and it has been just spill over from Fridays into Saturdays.
Anyways Song of the Day, lil different from the normal rock stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uolqQsQplB0

Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 6:36:51 PM- Just when I thought it wouldn't...
The cold wave has snuck up on us. Sure it's probably not all that cold to all you northerners but its significant to us. I actually enjoy it, whats the use in owning a jacket if its 70 all winter long ya know? With the cooler weather it has also brought quite a bit of heat calls. Finally something to break the lull in work!!! With the waether being mild as it was, no one was using their heat, or their a/c. If you don't use it, then it doesn't break!!! So appart from the maintenance contracts I have it was rather quiet around here. I work on commission, (for lack of a longer explanation). So when the calls come in I have to go, if I want to get paid that is. As well as keep that customer on top of that. When people are freezing, or burning up they'll call anyone who can get there and take care of it the quickest. They always resort to who they had LAST, but will easily go to someone else if they are unavailable. With the economy the way it is, I'm glad to be being called and can't afford to risk losing customers. Sure I get the weird hours now, (night & weekend calls mostly) but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, right?

Suppose to get below freezing tonight, thats pretty chilly this far south. I think when it gets here I'll throw on a jacket and maybe get a cup of hot chocolate and go for a stroll... if I manage to not be working.

Song of the Day (yes it is a remake, and no comment on the video)

Thursday, September 18, 2008, 4:24:26 AM- Hypocracy
... has to be one of the things I can't stand the most. I dunno if you dig deep enough though, everyone is probably a hippocrit to a certain extent. I'm not talking about those people though, I am talking about the ones who preach loud and proud about one thing, then go and do the exact opposite... I think this has to be a pet peeve of mine or something. I can't explain why it agitates me soooo much, but currently I can't think of anything that gets to me more!!! Do Not preach to everyone about having an open mind when it comes to different cultures then turn around and have a closed mind on something you know nothingggggggg about.

On a softer note, got a lot of work done today and quite a few satisfied customers. The end of summer is just a few days away, I heard it on the news earlier. Fall is beginning, but we don't have much of one it seems. No changing of the leaves and no long sleeve weather to speak of, probably not until January. Each winter is a little different here, but it usually goes one of 2 ways. It will either be mild, with a few cold snaps late or we will have the cold snaps early and be mild the rest of the time. The "off" season is coming, but fortunately there isn't a sign of work jumping off the deep end yet. Yes I do heating as well, but as you can imagine its nothing compared to the a/c demand. A lot of people here get by without even turning it on, most just use it to take the chill off the air in the mornings and go about their marry ways.

The week seems as if its going by semi-fast, thank god for the return of football!!! This is what I attribute it to, well for the most part anyways. I find myself oddly optimistic to see how things play out during the rest of the week. I wouldn't say optimism is one of my stronger qualities, but you won't find me bordering on pessimism either. I stay loose and stay liquid, ready for change and ready to adapt, after all what other choice do we have?

This one isn't old enough to be and "oldy" but certainly isn't new either.

I don't follow footbal ever since I was cut as a center in Junior High..
Hypocracy is not always what it seems to be...maybe there is a underlining reason...we do not know...

Sunday, September 14, 2008, 4:39:47 AM- Semi - Perturbed
Yes I know its been forever since I blogged, not that I have an in rush of readers, so I figured what the hell right? Things have been more or less pretty decent with me, nothing terrible has happend and on the other hand nothing overly fantasic has either. We all have bumps in the road from time to time and thats to be expected.

I had an installation today, kinda sucks when I lose one of my weekend days off, but none the less its part of the job. The people were very good customers of mine and everything with the installation went fine. Still, working weekends isn't one of my favorite things to do. So afer a long day I came to chat as I always tend to, an hour or so before bed. More or less to see whats going on with everyone and so on. I found myself warned for speaking to solefucker, not that I had said anything terrible, but warned none the less. In this particular mods defense, solefucker had went on a rant yesterday full of obscenities and accusations, basically causing a big comotion. I was admittedly involved in that, with the same mod to my recollection. Anyways, upon my first sentence to him I was warned not to start, and that this would be my only warning. (Sole was warned aswell.) The only thing I somewhat disagree with is my interpretation of warnings. I feel that when you do something wrong, you should be warned. I hadn't done anything wrong. Sure it could have POSSIBLY led into something, but those of you who know me, I don't tend to push the envelope too far. Sure I may come off as brash, bold, or even a little cocky but for the most part thats who and how I've always been. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining or making a scene. I don't have anything against this particular person or mod. Its just a thought that I have lingering in my head that didn't sit quite right with me. Thoughts or opinions welcome.

After that I found myself joking around with someone who consistently gives me a hard time. Things were looking up when suddenly that went bad aswell, as they threatened to leave the room on my account... All things considered I hadn't even touched the surface compared to what I normally take from this person!! (all in fun of course) I'm not asking them to change, but they just went from completely hot to completely cold on me. I seem to have had an abbundence of encounters with people having a short fuse tonight. As I said everyone has their bumpy days and maybe this was one of theirs?

To sum it all up, I am the type of person who is the same around everybody. I don't act one way with on person and a different way with another. I am the way I am, take it or leave it. If you like me, great!! We'll have a barrel of laughs that you might get a stomach ache from. If you don't like me, then I could give shit less, no matter who you are or how popular or "good looking" you may or may not be. I'm not someone seeking anyones "approval". (This part of the blog isn't about or directed towards anybody, just a reflection of self.)

With all that said I think I'm gonna call it a night, but first a newer song I caught myself listening to earlier today.

Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 12:50:29 AM- Yep, it was Monday...
I guess I would describe today as your typical drag ass Monday. I got plenty done but I dunno if it was that I was just physically tired, or just not in the mood. Either way the day seemed to drag on longer than usual. Its sort of funny how work in this industry seems to come in waves. Trends develop between breakdowns that don't make any sense. In other words, units have the same basic breakdowns at the same basic times with absolutely no relation between them. Brand, manufactured date, style unit all mean nothing. .... Just an observation

Wanted to take a moment to say thanks to those who responded to my last blog. All your comments and thoughts are welcome to help me consider all sides of a situation.

Song of the day!! Find myself oddly attracted to this one but I can't explain why. Not something in my typical taste, but somewhat unique. Thats possible why I like it.

Saturday, April 5, 2008, 4:35:24 AM- Hmmmm.
As I was reading through several blogs I've noticed this thing about taking away what people are calling the "guest" feature. From the way it is described I guess that makes me a guest for years on end. I fall in the catagory of "those who have fun at other expenses" as one puts it. That I should have to pay to visit this site because some of the others CHOSE too and receive additional features because of it. The subject of people creating multiple names to post more than the 3 pics per 24 hours came up as well. The negative view on that I can agree with, because it is underhanded.

However my perspective on erasing the non-paying members ranges rather differently. The blog I read that had the above stated opinions are of a rather respected member of NN. I have no sort of hard feelings or malice towards this person. I just have a different view, then they do and wanted to make sure that none of the paying members take it offensively. This is not a common porn site, I am sure everyone can agree with that. This is a more personalized amature porn community. If you stop to think about it, other than the chat feature and the nudity how much different is this as compared to myspace. (in a loose way) I know you don't create your own page here and they don't have a chat feature there. There is nudity here and so on. I mean the core idea though (the interactivity between members) has the same base. In effect we would be paying to talk with other people, here. How far should that go? Should we have to start paying to talk with people on msn, yahoo, or other instant messaging services?

Does it take away from being an AMATURE site if you are REQUIRED to pay? In a way, a little bit yes. Sure it may be a stretch but if you think about it, porn stars are paid to take their clothes off. If people are required to pay to see people naked here it boarders on just that.

As far as amenities that we "guests" take so much advantage of like blogs and picture posting. (as mentioned of in a different blog) How many free sites are out there that let you blog and post pictures?

I don't have a lot of ideas on how the site can make more money and I'm not claiming to, but to me it would seem the way to do that is to provide the Premium members with more premium options. Maybe some sort of NN video chat of some sort? I know video's are premium but maybe an in chat video option of some sort would prompt more members to join if they thought they could see live visual satisfaction? Maybe a voice chat option or a voice chat room?

As I said I am not overloaded with an immense number of ideas or thoughts but thats what I have off the top of my head. If you were to disable people from being free members then I think NN would lose MORE valuable long standing MEMBERS. I have been here longer then a lot of the paying members have, I no longer consider myself a guest, but a member.

I guess thats really about all I wanted to say, some of us do not like the idea of being deleted because we don't pay. Nor do I feel that I am having fun at others expenses. I think anyone who knows me and other people in my similar situation (concerning my membership and longevity) would agree that we are important members that fulfill an integral role in making the site a good place.

Until next time....

"Ty MD, as far as to Northern & 1st Class. I'm not saying that SOME "guests" don't cause problems. I'm saying that ALL "guests" don't. Even with that said I can think of a few trouble causing premium members. When you pick up a coin, you take with you both sides. Ty for the comments all!! xxx"
