I follow a few blogs on here pretty regularly and am struck by the wide geographic diversity they represent. Pretty much spanning the globe. Not many places where you can keep up with folks over such a wide area. I think that is really a cool thing, don't you?

Can't trust that day. Oh Monday morning gave me no warning of what was to be...

We are all a little crazy. Some of us have more "mainstream" crazy, some of us have our very own brand of crazy, and some, well some are truly just crazy as hell! It has taken me a long time, but I think I know where my crazy is. Funny thing is I still look at others and think they are crazy, then I remember that they look at me and think the same thing. It has taken a long time for me to realize all of the weirdness in me, and still I surprise myself sometime. And the wall goes back up, and we don't mention it anymore, but the thoughts are still there, still rambling, like pinballs in your brain. At least I have made peace with my crazy, now if all y'all would just conform to my crazy life would be grand!!! ROTFLMAO

I have been talking and texting with lots of friends tonight who are all suffering from some type of loss and pain. I have friends on this site who are suffering for some reason. Above it all one thread runs constant; amid the despair runs a ray of hope, the thought that one day there will be a dawn that signals a new and hopeful beginning. To all who need that dawn, I hope it comes for you soon.

Had a thrown together at the last minute pot luck dinner with a bunch of friends last night that ended up with just a bit too much wine. I slept great but the head is just a little fuzzy today. Glad it is Friday, it has been a busy week and I am ready to kick back a bit and just chill a little. I hope everyone has something that makes them smile today, heck, every day! Was a pretty smart guy. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Wierd when that happens. Enjoyed a great few days with some close friends, but while there one of the group was suffering some very serious personal trials. We all rallied around her and tried to absorb as much of her personal pain as we could. Still had lots of good times as well. As I said, just wierd, and Dickens was right.

Early tomorrow off on a beach trip with 7 of my closest friends, can't wait!! We are going to rock the house!

Friends come in all shapes and sizes, all backgrounds, all walks of life. The best them about them; they are your friend. They enjoy your company,they celebrate your victories, they lift you up when you are down, they comfort you in times of trouble. Yep, friends are wonderful. And I get to see one of my "friend groups" this weekend at the beach before the start of a business trip. Let's have a loud, long WOO HOO for this coming weekend. Love your friends, they already love you!!

Listening to music, and am overwhelmed with the thought that a kiss is so amazing, so telling. Have you ever had a first kiss that rocked your world? Was it 35 years ago? Do you still remember it like it was yesterday? A first kiss tells so much. It speaks volumes that no words can define, good or bad.
