tip
Controversial opinion if it hasnt happend already (it should) : If you didint get ID verified, NN Should have or should delete all old posted pics from that profile.
hahaha you funny, 1: only 78000 active members, all other pics/vids be gone? 2: none of NNs other sites are ID validating
(2 years ago)
Interesting theory, but it definitely aint gonna happen.
No lol....sorry I don't think so
I understand the logic, but I can't see it happening.
What logic sexy Mr? Just curious

It's the same with other pictures. For example digitally modified pics are no longer allowed in galleries, but any from before the rule was implemented are still here.

The logic is that any revenge pics that slipped through before ID verification are still online.

And before any form of verification was in place, a lot of them are dodgy to say the least

There are 100's of 1000's of pics that would not pass mod verification these days

The id verification is not retroactive and would serve no purpose to make it so.
Ok I get you there,I just don't agree
We really don't need to find new ways to piss off members, people get pissed off enough already.
Being retroactive, it would remove 100 of 1000'f of pics, NN would become a shadow of its former self
(2 years ago)
Because some that just choose not to for whatever reason and it's their choice ,would lose their pics and that is not fair.
And then they would probably leave the site,
(2 years ago)
Active members want to know the pics that are currently being posted are from genuine members and not web crap, revenge pics, this is a major step forward, one cannot rewrite history.
EmuLater and Wrigley like this
As many of the current wokeraty want to do, rewrite history, which is nonsense, it's called history for a very good reason,

ID veri is not more than it is.

It is what it is, not perfect, but until someone comes up with a better system I'm glad we have this current version
(2 years ago)
What is the percentage of pics that need to be deleted since ID, compared to what was deleted before ID?
The question really should be what percentage of pics need to be deleted since mod approval was implemented compared to before. It's a large number.

I was just curious to know what the affect of ID has been on pics removed.
And ratio of pics approved to pics declined?
I definately have noticed the decline in pics of serial revenge pics that were posted over and over again, they never appear any more, excellent: )
EmuLater and GottaBeMe like this
It's the mod approval not the id veri that has had the affect. i have no idea what the ratio is.

TopCat57 and GottaBeMe like this
Just 1 example the monster who posted those dreadful yellow pics of his sister in law passed out, I got tired of alerting them: )
I was assuming that most of the people who have ID'd are uploading genuine pics so the deletions would be significantly reduced.
TopCat57 likes this
Because I am also assuming that the ID process will dissuade a lot of the problem pic uploaders.
Unfortunately, if people wanna put fake pics up they will alway find a way
(2 years ago)
TopCat57 and EmuLater like this
Devils advocate, because the ID crfiteria is so small, unless your IP address can be found some people will still think they can't be caught out

Affect is a verb, effect is the noun. Just saying. smile

You're right clitty, I'm usually very careful to get it right.
Clitty! Really, Anal much, I'm shite at grammar and spelling, people understand what I wrote innt, is it that important that you need to point out something so trivial? : D
(2 years ago)
(Sorry, watching the BBc news about the Ukraine, grammar seems so trivial at the moment) : )
