Friday, May 3, 2013, 9:17:35 PM- I guess it's time to let the NN creeps know lol...
For the many of you who arent on my facebook:

My lil booger sprouted into the world January 30th, 7:54 pm. It was a rough go but what birth isn't? lol... I was induced the first try the monday before, went in for a second round tuesday afternoon and I called in the L&D ward early monday morning crying "I'M SICK OF THIS PAIN I'M COMING TO GET THIS OUTTA ME!" after having labor pains since tuesday morning. Lo and behold the induction didn't end up working (surprise surprise!... sheesh) and I had a c section. He was 7 lb 11oz, and now is probably around 16 lbs (at his 2 month appointment he was almost 14 lbs smile Long and lean like daddy with thick tree stump legs like me lol. Blonde hair and blue eyes that will make even the most bitter person smile smile

Booger is a 'good' baby (as in pretty easy to manage, cause no babies are good or bad truly). He's a laid back lil dood like his momma, plus I'm not a narotic freak and I think that helps lol.

I take him running with me, for 35 km a week he joins me in the stroller. On saturdays I get to have a nice fast and free 10km by myself since husband is home. MrPuss does his part as much as he can, but I have the boobs and I hate pumping with this crappy manual one.

I love having energy for my life, this not working full-time kicks ass. My weekly km's are 45 and I have one or two days of cross training in there too. Definitely not scared of getting back into the bikini tongue Very excited about marathon training but it's all based upon when my pubic bone fully heals as it still hurts when I push it.

Summer is coming, its finally getting warm here (been winter since October, grrr)... I swear I'll try my best not to bitch about the mosquitos lol.

Wednesday, October 17, 2012, 12:34:46 PM- Slowly resembling the likes of a blow fish...
The belleh is 23" from bow to stern and at six months is now taking over my waistline. I browse through old pics and start to get sad knowing it's gonna be a while before I get to see my old friend Body again.

I know I got a long three months to go, it's going to be hard feeling attractive pretty darn quick here and I try not to let the numbers on the scale play mind games with me. Last time I weighed this was when I was chubby before I found the usage of running shoes lol.

Speaking of running, this two day a week light jogging (friggin tease) has sparked my full interest in participating in the Grizzly Ultra Marathon next October. Barring I don't break my leg training for it my mind is set (or for some unforseen issue the Government doesn't gimme my mat leave).

I wouldn't even begin to bother trying to accomplish such a feat (not only the race but the many hours of training post pregnancy) if it wasn't for my awesomely supportive husband as well as usage of a breast pump lol.

Wonder if I should get him one of those man nursing units, you know the ones that look like bewbs that hold milk LOL!! That'd be friggin funny as a joke if I can find those in a store here.

Thursday, October 11, 2012, 1:17:06 AM- What is it?
With people whining they are 'sick' anytime they get the snivvles or feel at all off. I swear I get the same three people on my facebook bitching about the flu maybe once every three months and it annoys the piss outta me. My sister is 'sick' again, she just missed three days work in September and now she's missed two again. She lost that job already because she kept calling in sick, and her old boss was gracious enough to call her back for a second try. Why do I care? Cause everytime she fucks up I have to pick up the peices and if I don't I am being selfish cause everyone should alwasys help family right.

I vent here because I can't vent anywhere else cause I has her on my facebook LOL.

Ask me when the last time I was sick was... DO IT, I dares ya! grin

Monday, October 1, 2012, 12:35:02 PM- Ok another reason to be excited for winter! lol!
I've loathed Christmas for six years, since moving from home to a different province. It's a really hard time of the year for people who get struck with homesickness easily and miss family painfully. BUT, I talked with my mom last night on the phone and she told me she's spending Christmas here, at my house! She even told my other sis who lives in BC as well and she wants to plan a way her family can come too. We're definately not short on space around here, and I've ALWAYS wanted a really busy family Christmas with a house full of kids and food and adults acting like kids smile She is also staying to wait for baby to come and is going to help me for a lil while, since she's on disability there is really nothing keeping her at home. She feels lost these days and is trying to find where she belongs, knowing she's stayed in her hometown for way too long she has to pick up and leave the ghosts.

OH, I was able to go running twice last week, I just took the doggies across the street and did some laps around the hay fields. At that pace it's perfect for the doggies and I love the company.

ME HAPPY!! 24 weeks

Thursday, September 13, 2012, 12:36:27 PM- Is it January yet? lol
I'd like to open in saying I wanna slap all the women who tell me they LOVED being pregnant lol.

So far my running shoes are gonna be collecting dust, hopefully for just a few weeks (holding onto a glimmer of hope). My pelvis feels like it's ripping apart in the left side of my crotch. Belly feels awesome finally and my energy level is good headaches pretty much gone. But I'm not ME when I can't run sad Trying not to feel sorry for myself cause I am mostly happy the amoeba is doing good as per my last ultrasound scan where all appendages and such were accounted for lol.

Not feeling too secksy either, not huge yet but any kind of bulk around my belly is too much. Bewbs aren't the same either, I miss my perky lil taught aerodynamic boobies and pretty pink nipples. The nether regions are also doing their 'own' thing and I am NOT impressed. :-S

I mostly keep the whining to a minimum, since this is all fully natural and things are going well. But dammit!

"Nope, anything jarring on my pelvis hurts like a hot damn. I can do lots still, but none of it is running. Even my job alone is enough workout for most people. But I also have an elliptical and rowing machine that I use often and am boring with, as well as strength training and pilates/yoga. Still none of it is running :-("

Friday, August 31, 2012, 8:31:27 PM- Bastard faces
The husbands kids... They want really nothing to do with him anymore, don't wanna talk to him and haven't been here in months. It's 'boring' here and they are jealous of me (mostly the younger boy)... They completely cut off interest when they found out I was pregnant. How DARE their dad share his fatherhood. Kids are such ignoramous self centred little jerks. How naive of me to think that this would make them excited to have another lil brother or sister.

I'm sick of watching them do this to him, he's friggin heart broken beyond repair and it is painful to watch over and over again. I lost my dad four years ago and I'd literally climb to the top of the world for one last hug from him.

Their useless excuse for a mother is brainwashing them to alienate him, she grew up without her dad and told them if she didn't have one they dont need one either.

It has always been really hard for me to be close to them, for many reasons (always been nice to them tho)... But lately I'm realizing they are becoming their mother. That is frightening and disappointing.

Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 12:37:52 PM- Outch
K I'm ready to buy a friggin hot tub now. I have been running and walking differently to save some impact on my sore stretching belly muscles and it's taken the toll on my foot. I got something that must be along the lines of a shin splint, but more anterior and seems to be rooted near my pinky toe joint not the big toe joint. I pulled my back manhandling a bag of minerals into the microfeeding unit at work. I'm ready for mat leave NOW, argh. If it wasn't a measly half of ones wages I'd reallly be thinking about it already.

whine fest over, it's hump day at least! lol

Friday, August 24, 2012, 4:51:18 PM- Has it REALLY been that long?
Well over a year since my last blog? lol... Lazy huh?

Hmmm, well lets see what has been new since then?

We finally bought our own place which some of you already know about and seen pics on facebook. No more landlord stopping by on a saturday afternoon with his hand out grin... Funny, I have no problem paying the bank tho! It's far from everything except my job which is only 20 min of rural highway away. I miss my sister and friends often but don't regret moving here whatsoever, it's gorgeous and our critters are all very happy! The horses have tons of trees and bush to get out of the weather in and we rotate them between three enclosures to allow the grass to catch up. Nice not feeding hay in the summer.

Speaking of horses, Pixie the 'baby' of the group turned three this year and we just started her under saddle. She's doing fantastic, doesn't even care wtf we do to her, as long as we are loving her she's happy. Bella is having more seizures lately and we pulled her from breeding. I seen two since we been here and the last one lasted quite a while sad... Four horses is more than enough for us right now anyways, I just worry for her safety more than anything. The other two ponies are awesome as always, never any issues or news from them.

Doggie count is down to two crying... Sobo got in the way of our big john deere while husband was removing trees. Our boarder collie herds everything that makes noise and Sobo liked to follow him. We now tie them both up when the machinery is on, shoulda coulda woulda done so in the first place. I've never seen my husband that upset in the 7 yrs of knowing him, and I hope I never see that again.

I'm preggo now, got a 18 week old amoeba slithering around in my belly lol. I told husband I was NOT going to get pregnant until we own our own place (parents moved lots, and I refuse to do that to my kids). We moved here end of March and I got pregnant end of April LMAO. When I get a more obvious baby belly I'll take some nekkid pics, for now I'm mostly boob but it's comin!

Uhh I think that's all for now lol. Just on holidays and enjoying the amount of sleep until monday sad Looking forward to mat leave and being HOME!!! Yeah yeah yeah, I'll still be 'working' hard but it wont be getting pushed around and bit all day by hogs. I'm one of the few who is going to enjoy a break while raising a baby HA HA.

Well I bid you adeu for now, maybe next year or so I'll blather again lol.

Thursday, May 26, 2011, 4:43:51 AM- Last weekend, ahhh so happy!
The camping season is upon!!! We took the fifth wheel and horse trailer and parked our drunken asses at our favorite spot last weekend.

All was well, the stepspawn got over their fears and even got in the saddle for a bit... The horses did AWESOME with such young and inexperienced mounts. My lil gelding Diesel, 5 now... He is push button as they come, and was more tolerant than I was expecting. The weather was KICK ASS until sunday evening, then it poured until we left monday afternoon.

Friday night however, my draft mare Bella had a seizure in her stall... I thought she was spooking at something at first, until I seen what she was doing up close... Staggering around like she was hammered, chewing and foaming at the mouth, sweating and breathing really heavy. It was over in about half a min then she was tired. She was back to her normal self in the morning so we commenced our trail ride.

She's had a few seizures since we had her, one a year approx... I only worry that what she has could be hereditary or affect the development of a foal, as she is at the breeders right now... She goes for an ultrasound to detect pregnancy two weeks after the last "cover", then I'll ask the vet about his opinion and get some bloodwork done. I'm sure hormones set her seizures off, as she didn't have any of them when we got her (she was pregnant). I just want to duplicate her, because she's absolutely perfect, I won't pass on something like this if it's hereditary so she'll get a shot to abort if the vet thinks it's best.

Still trying to grasp this stepmomdom... My stepdaughter is almost 16 now. She had her friend come with us camping and I was against the idea cause we don't have sleeping space in the camper for another and I was expecting some cocky lil hoochie momma. But she ended up being a pretty cool lil chick, someone I'd have beers with. She rode my mare Bella, and my stepdaughter seen her confidence and that urged her to ride my lil gelding Diesel. They were out all day long without our superivsion and they have no clue how to ride... We instructed them the basics and told them to pull them in a tight circled if they go too fast... They came back to camp without any stories of anything scary, and most of all my stepdaughter wants to ride more!!! That's feckin awesome, cause we have a standardbred mare who will be a great horse for her when she's ready.

Horses bring the best out in people, they give direction to those who are lost and they control those who are flightly. They give confidence tho those who think its impossible. If my stepdaughter can latch on somehow to our horsey life it'll be the best thing she's ever done.

I got an update today about my mare Bella... She's in heat now and the stallion is definately paying attention. Here's hoping she catches and is able to carry a healthy baby for us!

Peace out!

Wednesday, January 26, 2011, 3:26:14 AM- Yes I"m still here, for anyone who might notice lol
Been busy with my job and our new place... I mostly go to chat, for lack of interesting enough things to say and post in blog lol.

A few of you inquire about how Honey is doing... She's awesome, living outside (has been for quite a while) in the old pig barn with Courtney (the mini) and our three chickens... They got two heat lamps in there and a bunch of old straw, it stays quite comfy in there for them even during our 'lovely' -35 cold snaps. I was worried about Honey and Courtney getting along, Courtney didn't want much to do with her at first when she was a tiny bouncy baby... Now they sleep in the same lil nest pile, chickens still roost on top of Courtney lol. If I'm sneaky enough I'm sure I can snap a pic through the door, Honey has insane hearing and always bounces up when she hears us at the door.

I let her out when it's warm to play, she follows me around everywhere I go and chases the dogs (lol!) The horses seem okay with her until they don't see her for a while, then she looks different cause of her fast growth.

This is her five weeks or so ago...

This is her today, I took one of the horses out and she was quite entertained with biting the end of his tail lol

I'm amazed at how well she remembered the voice commands I taught her at such a young age. "Don't Bite" "inside", and she knows when she's doing something wrong by the tone of my voice. The whole time she was out today her lil bud kept their nest warm lol.

"oh rayray, some things never change do they? lol! Thanks guys, this spring/summer there will be lots of critterblogging going on. Bella's in foal (black horse in the pic) and we're expecting the bouncing ball of feathery muscle monkey in early June... Considering this website theme, would it be inappropriate of me to post pics of my horses lactating nipples? LMFAO"
