Haha, ju. The food is amazing to be sure, but they don't eat a lot of bread and pasta in northern Italy, so let's go there wink Laphroaigh is going to be our guide.
Italy without bread and pasta? sad
You're thinking of southern Italy, amica mia.
there's no place in italy where you don't eat a lot of bread and pasta... you can skip them, but then comes the hard stuff XD

Laph, as far as I remember, there is bread, which one doesn't have to eat, but don't remember too much pasta. In the north they eat more rice i.e. risotto.
mmh.. yeah we consider risotto as pasta.. what is important is the sauce which is different in every region, then everyone use that sauce with the type of pasta he prefers
(2 years ago)
but yeah in the north you find more risotto than south
(2 years ago)
sauces can take lot of time to be made and every city (more or less) has its own typical
(2 years ago)
Sauce is good!
