When I get something thats smells of Amazon,The box is at lest 4 time as large as it could be. It's a world wide scandle of waste. Robotic Amerzon is disgusting.. thumbdown

Raven, the box is just cardboard and is very recyclable.

I recycle all my cardboard...after Poppy the parrot has hed her fun with a box in her cage, she loves eating her way in and can spend a morning quietly inside : )

I think over packing is bad. for example 1) it cost energy to repross and 2) Over large boxes take up more space to transport and deliever in a fuel guzzelling Lorry or Van...

Another way to look at it, an Amazon van that has 100 packages, one vehicle on the road, v 100 people who hop in their automobile and drive to the store, 100 vehicles on the road. One vehicle using

Yes smile. But if the van carried 200 smaller packetages that have not been over packed, then The Van is twice as efficient smile

Then the van is on the road for twice as long, and a shift for the driver is only allowed by law to be long.

Of course the right sized packages are best. I'm just looking at the "big picture", as they say.

I do not know if Amerzon transport pizza but here is example of how to redce enery costs and pollution.....

Where I live they have Amazon Fresh. It is same day delivery of fresh groceries. So yes, I can get pizza from them (but I don't, I make my pizza).

Contact Amazon , Raven, I'm sure they would love to hear your theories about how to deliver the billions of packages they do transport, via a bicycle....

Drones are the the go to future...until a few drop their load on the way....

A large lorry transporting pizza from central deopt to region distribution centres. to just transport the sealed pizza with a stick instruction lable onit , instend of spacy individual boxes.....
Pizzas are cooked fresh, they don't arrive to the pizza shop in bulk, the ingredients do, and then are made fresh to order.
....Well the lorry could transport about 4 time as much actual pizza than if they are booxed. Hope that makes sence smile
(1 year ago)
as much as you do...no it doesn't, supermarket pizzas are ready made, and are rightly pretty crap, a freshly made pizza is an utterly different animal.

I was watching a local lorry ditribution deport. Two Lorrie they for Brighton. Cponsidering the items listed in the a lot of the boxes ready for transport, I wondered how much actual space they were
(1 year ago)
Night, Raven, your typing is getting increasingly hard to decipher.
...actually taking due to,perhaps, over packing.. By looking at the two loads due for Brighton to leave at the same time.. noticed that it might have only needed one lorry to do the job perhaps.
Sorry, the keyboad is not very good.
Raven, get a bluetooth external keyboard, they don't cost much, about $30 USD on Amazon.
