Well, Weekend is with Us again.

: It's a rather strange one this May.. The first month ever to have 3 Wees with only Four Days instead of a standard 5 Day Week. A sign of The Future ?

I was always happy to work bank holidays to get extra pay or a day off in lieu.

I'm not suggesting that it's wrong, just that could this be the shape of things to come ?. Most who work over the "Bank Holiadays" might expect promotion for example...:

Well the way this country is going with its over-reactive social consciences, we will be getting 15 and more bank/stat holidays a yeear, as well as the vacation contracts !!!!!!!

Bank holidays, like weekends mean nothing when you work for yourself, no extra pay, no day...purely my choice, wouldn't have it any other way : )

My colleagues and I have had so many spell around that length and longer (one girl worked 31 days straight at least 3 times) in the last 3 years !!!!! Paid off mortgages tho
