I think that's close enough. A Sherman hairpin is where they lifted a railtrack, put it in a fire and wrapped it round itself, making it useless

Yeah, they are Cavies, so breed like hell when conditions are right. Same in Brazil, they're a destructive nuisance, but fortunately a tasty one
